Our Mission
The Friends of the Library want the library to be the best it can be, and we assist in many ways. The Friends purchase
items for the library which cannot be purchased through the regular operating budget. We underwrite many programs for children
each year and sponsor special family programs as well. We raise funds for these activities through book sales and other fund-raisers,
most notably
the annual Harvest of the Arts.
Harvest 2011 was September 18th:
We had over 100 artists and crafters selling their work. Harvest featured live entertainment once again. The group Rejoicing
Sounds entertained with dulcimer music. There was an annual quilt raffle. Lunch was available at the Cafe inside the
town hall. It was the 29th annual event that benefitted The Herrick Memorial Library. It was all on the Square in historic
Wellington, Ohio. We need volunteers to help with morning setup, Cafe workers, and cleanup. Call 440-647-2120 if you can help.
